More Than Just Your Photographer

This life is fleeting.

Unfortunately this life is unpredictable and finite.

I have been photographing weddings since 2016. Over the years the most beautiful and valuable lesson I have learned after getting to be involved with SO MANY love stories is that this life is unpredictable, and that is what makes it so precious; and in my opinion, worth documenting.

Your wedding day will be the last time you will see some of your loved ones. It might be your grandparents last major outing or something more unexpected. Because life is… Unpredictable.

My wedding photos have had the privilege to be hung in hundreds of couples homes over the years. They have also had the honor to be many peoples obituary photos because.. “It just really felt like them.”

This is why I value every single portion of a wedding day from start to finish. Because the WHOLE gallery matters in your story. Every person you invited matters to you. So they matter to me.

I have preached this to every photographer I have taught over the years.

In 2022 I photographed a dear friends wedding on a Saturday..

My parents attended this wedding and we spent the evening dancing and laughing. Celebrating our dear friends.

My father was in an accident two days later and we had to say our forever goodbye.

While sometimes this life is cut way to short the largest honor I can do as a photographer is honor every person I get the chance to be in front of and photograph them in a way that feels like who they truly are.

My Family

Cade + I welcomed our little girl in 2024.

She is more of a gem than I could have ever imagined. It’s as if she knows I am a photographer because she has the biggest smile I have ever seen.
